Q: How do I find songs or music to add to my Sounds U Like?
A: You can download any mp3 music files from the freemp3cloud.com website which is the mp3 equivalent of Spotify and iTunes. Check out the "add music video" in the support section for instructions.
Q: Can I add white noise to my Sounds U Like?
A: Yes, we have found an excellent site that offers free mp3 files containing White Noise, it can be found on the following link: freesoundslibrary.com
Q: Can I adjust the brightness of my Sounds U Like?
A: Yes, press and hold the Light button for a couple of seconds it will cycle through increasing the brightness when it reaches your desired brightness let go of the button, If you wish it to get dimmer, hold the button in again for a couple of seconds and it will cycle through the dimmer settings.
Q: Can I add my Spotify or iTunes music to my Sounds U Like?
A: No, these music formats are stored differently and are only designed to work on their respective platforms.
However, you can use the Sounds U Like as a wireless speaker to listen to your Spotify or iTunes music. In fact, as your child grows, this becomes their preferred way of using the Sounds U Like.
Q: Why does my Sounds U Like beep when I press the volume up and down buttons?
A: Ideally you should adjust the Sounds U Like volume while you are playing music, if no music is playing the bleeps get louder or softer to let you know the direction the volume is moving.
It is advised to adjust the volume whilst the music your baby will listen to is playing, so you know the volume level is correct for this music and your baby.
Q: How long do the rechargeable batteries last?
A: We have found that with continuous use as a wireless speaker and with the lights on, you will get about 16 hours use on a full charge.
If you work with it as a lullaby machine, it will be nearer 2–3 times longer as it only turns on as and when it is needed.
Q: Where can I buy the Sounds U Like musical night light?
A: You can buy the Sounds U Like musical baby night light from one of our retailers local to you. Just visit the find a retailer page. We are hoping to add some more International retailers soon.
Q: Why is there a background hum/buzz from the speaker in Bluetooth mode?
A: Sometimes the speaker will make a background hum or buzzing sound in Bluetooth mode; this indicates the Sounds U Like battery is running low and needs charging. Connect a USB charger until it is fully charged, then disconnect the charger lead and enjoy the Sounds U Like.
Q: Can I get a longer cable for the Sounds U Like?
A: The magnetic USB charging cable is designed to protect the Sounds U Like circuits and your baby. Tugging or accidentally catching the cable during charging will instantly release the cable from the Sounds U Like, and because it is short, there is less chance of your baby getting caught up in it.
